10. The "Age of Mary" started in the mid-19th century, starting in 1830 with the approved visions given to St. Catherine of Laboure about the Miraculous Medal and ended with the Marian year in 1954. Within the span of 125 years, there occurred 8 major Marian apparitions and the official declaration of 2 new Marian Dogmas that expressed the beliefs of Catholics since Apostolic Times. This time period consistently had Our Lady warning the faithful of the disasters to come to the Catholic Church and the world.
